Sound Replacement

Original Destiny 2 Clip

1:1 Sound Replacement

Although an unusual practice in video game sound design, I wanted to use this project to demonstrate my ability to find sounds in a SFX library that I could rework into sounding like the sounds from the original clip. Additionally, I wanted to replace everything by hand, and make it as close to the original as possible. Because this was my first ever attempt at doing something like this, it enhanced my skills for imagining sounds being other sounds, and helped me practice finding or making adequate samples.

Foley Art

The Terminal - Foley Replacement

Completed during my time at Montana State, this project focused on taking a movie clip, erasing the audio, and recreating it using Foley. By using everyday objects within my workspace, as well as using a max-gain recording from a Roland R-26, I was able to create sounds that could belong to the original.
